ABSTRACT

In this letter we look at a computerized method of identifying pathways based upon a cost-analysis method. Using this method complicated or large-area land-cover patterns can be assessed. We use the example of West-Coast Renosterveld, a vegetation type that has been highly transformed by agriculture.
