ABSTRACT

Based on the idea of temperature and humidity independent control, a new air-conditioning system is presented, which combines ice storage air-conditioning system and capillary radiation air-conditioning. And the ground-source is also applied to provide high temperature for the cold source for capillary radiation air-conditioning. The air-conditioning system is characterized by power load peak load shifting, reducing energy consumption and providing good thermal comfort. Taking an office building in Hangzhou area as an example, the experiment is developed by calculating building load, designing air-conditioning schemes and making cold storage strategy. In order to compare with conventional airconditioning system, energy consumption has been analyzed. The results show that the ice storage air-conditioning system has advantages in energy conservation.
