ABSTRACT
Lipid compositions and compound-specific δ13C ratios of high-molecular-weight dissolved organic matter (HMW-DOM) in the Middle-Atlantic-Bight varied with water depth, implying that the origins of HMW-DOM at different layers of the ocean may differ.
